Vanilla Buttercream Frosting

I can't remember what website I got the recipe from- but let's just say... I'm not a frosting type of person (outside of cream cheese frosting- and who can honestly say no to that?), but this frosting is the bomb!

1 cube softened (not melted) butter (real butter)
1 lb powdered sugar
3 Tablespoons vanilla
3-5 cap fulls of milk (depending on consistency)

put softened butter and powered sugar in mixer and mix- gradually add the liquids until desired consistency is achieved.

The one thing I didn't like about this frosting- was because it had a lot of butter in it- it didn't stand up to mildly warm cupcakes on a 95 degree day. As you can see by the picture- I actually pipped the frosting on with a decorative tip, only to have it wilt like a limp peace of lettuce.

The taste was awesome though- so I guess it has it's trade offs.
